I have been working with families for over 15 years. I have completed my Bachelor of Arts degree and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of Sydney. My studies focused on developmental child psychology. I also have considerable experience working with mothers who are experiencing depression, anxiety and low confidence. I have a special interest in infant sleep disturbance and am familiar with current research.

I have also worked full-time as a nanny in Australia and in the UK, and have enjoyed supporting families. Through my work with families I noticed that there seemed to be a lot of support for parents during the pregnancy and during the birth, but once the baby was brought home you were on your own! Even though there is a lot of information out there, a lot of it is contradictory, so it can be difficult to wade through it all and find something that works for your family. Friends and family can offer their advice, but what works for them may not always be ideal for your situation.

So I decided to start providing support which is based on my years of experience with families, current infant research and literature and individually tailored advice for individual family situations. It is important to take into consideration individual family differences including parental styles, parenting beliefs, older or younger siblings, available support from your partner and extended family as well as many other factors. I take these things into consideration when proffering a support plan to achieve the best possible outcome for you and your family.

I really enjoy working with families and supporting them to create an environment which is conducive to lots of sleep, healthy eating and healthy behaviour. Combining current clinical infant literature and my experience with hundreds and hundreds of families makes for a very successful outcome!
